The New England Aquarium on Boston's Central Wharf is home to the Giant Ocean Tank, a penguin colony, Atlantic harbor seals and a shark and ray touch tank, plus the Simons Theatre. Beyond exhibits, the aquarium conducts conservation and research work studying and protecting ocean animals.
