In-Town + Travel League
Travel (grades 3β8) requires tryouts; must live in Belmont or attend Belmont schools
Belmont Soccer Association is a community youth soccer organization for children who live or go to school in Belmont, run entirely by volunteer coaches. It is large β more than 1,400 kids per season, including 500β600 in the travel program β and covers grades Kβ12 (the former Kβ2 'Belmont Second Soccer' has merged in).
Programs include travel soccer for grades 3β8 (Boston Area Youth Soccer league, with A/B/C teams by level), In-Town recreational leagues for Kβ8, high school BAYS travel teams for grades 9β12 (Sunday afternoon 7v7 games), and soccer clinics throughout the year. Fall and spring seasons register separately; the fall 2026 travel season runs September 12 to November 14. Kβ2 games are Saturday mornings at Winn-Brook Elementary School fields.
Fall travel registration usually closes in late June (the club must confirm team counts with BAYS by June 30). Travel placements are held each spring, with dates published by the end of March; rosters come out around July 31βAugust 15 and are finalized by the end of August. Spring teams must be committed to BAYS by January 31, and high school players register by early September. The club's site does not state when registration opens each year.
